Parent Support & Intervention
When a child or teen is struggling with anxiety or OCD, it can feel overwhelming and hard to know where to begin. Many of the things we naturally do to help- like offering reassurance or helping them avoid distress- can bring relief in the moment, but often become difficult to sustain over time.
Parenting a child with significant anxiety can also be exhausting and isolating, and these sessions are a place for you to better understand these patterns, receive guidance, and feel more confident in how you respond. These sessions are focused on supporting you as the parent and do not require your child to attend.
Together, we’ll work on practical, evidence-based strategies that help reduce accommodation while also communicating to your child that they are capable of handling anxiety and uncertainty. This work is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in maintaining a strong connection with your child.
