Groups are skills-based and structured, with a strong focus on learning and practicing practical strategies while connecting with others and increasing perspective. Using evidence-based approaches, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), groups support participants in building confidence in facing fears, reducing avoidance, and responding to anxiety more flexibly. Groups are accessible to individuals at all stages of change after completing an individual assessment.       <image:caption>When a child or teen is struggling with anxiety or OCD, it can feel overwhelming and hard to know where to begin. Many of the things we naturally do to help- like offering reassurance or helping them avoid distress- can bring relief in the moment, but often become difficult to sustain over time. Parenting a child with significant anxiety can also be exhausting and isolating, and these sessions are a place for you to better understand these patterns, receive guidance, and feel more confident in how you respond. These sessions are focused on supporting you as the parent and do not require your child to attend. Together, we’ll work on practical, evidence-based strategies that help reduce accommodation while also communicating to your child that they are capable of handling anxiety and uncertainty. This work is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in maintaining a strong connection with your child.</image:caption>

We’ll build skills to handle fear and anxiety while increasing flexibility, self-compassion, and tolerance for discomfort. Our work will focus on helping you live with anxiety or OCD instead of letting it be in control. I also offer harm reduction support for exploring alcohol use or other coping behaviors that may no longer feel aligned with the life you want to live. Small shifts in how you relate to anxiety can have a powerful impact on your relationships, confidence, and daily life.
